Woezo is an Ewe word meaning "You are welcome! My house is your house." This phrase portrays the spirit of Nani's passion about sharing his arts and culture.

Nani Agbeli, the director of Woezo, gives workshops and performances in traditional arts and culture from tribes in Ghana, West Africa. He hails from a family of artists and spent his life learning the dance, music, and craft of Ghana, and the historical beginnings of these. He is passionate about sharing these with others.

Nani currently is a professor at Tufts University, and music/dance instructor at Harvard University but he also gives community and school workshops and performances. Whether you are looking for a fun, cultural exposure event for your students, or you are already a trained professional and are looking for something more, Nani will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and expertise to his work with you.
